With the butterfly from one attraction to the next
The first thing our guests notice when they arrive in Werfenweng is the wonderful nature and mountain world that surrounds our pretty village. The mighty rock faces of the Tennengebirge, proudly towering into the heights. The green or white expanses, depending on the time of year, that shine brightly in the sun. The many waters that make our region special (idyllic).
As a location for soft mobility, we have made it our mission to contribute to the protection of this nature through targeted mobility measures. In this way, we have managed to establish ourselves as the ideal holiday destination for environmentally conscious nature lovers. On this page we would like to explain in more detail what soft mobility means to us.
One butterfly for many colourful benefits
It is available in a Basic and Plus version and is the key to many colourful benefits that make your holiday with us even more enjoyable. In addition to our mobility offers, the Werfenweng Card offers wonderful guided hikes, e-bike tours, free entry to the Salzburg Ski Museum and much more. Just keep an eye out for our butterfly!
Our village shuttle E-LOIS lets you be wonderfully mobile even without your own car and reliably takes you from A to B within Werfenweng at any time.
Available daily from 08:00 to 23:00 on +43 (0) 664 12 66 700. Included with the Werfenweng Card.
The E-LOIS will be out of service from 01.04. to 03.05.2024.
The W3 shuttle is the best friend of those guests who come to Werfenweng in an environmentally conscious way. Coordinated with the travel times of most trains, it picks you up on time at the station and takes you to your accommodation. Of course, the same also works in the opposite direction. You can also use it to reach all the excursion destinations and hiking areas in our neighbouring communities of Werfen and Pfarrwerfen.
For some things you do need a car. Here, too, we keep it environmentally conscious in the spirit of soft mobility: in addition to e-bikes and fun mobility, our fleet therefore also includes state-of-the-art Cupra Born models. Your driving pleasure – without a guilty conscience – is thus assured.

Being mobile has never been so easy! If you show your Werfenweng Card, you can get your SVV ticket at our tourist office upon request and use all public transport in the whole of the province of Salzburg completely free of charge.
A trend that is here to stay: With an e-bike you can conquer the most beautiful places in our mountain world or make your way to the region’s excursion destinations (in an environmentally conscious way). The good news for all e-bike fans in Werfenweng is that in exchange for just 100 points on your Werfenweng Card, the bikes can be hired free of charge!
