Your questions – our answers

While you are planning your holiday in Werfenweng, one or two questions are bound to come up. Or maybe you are already in our village and are just looking for a specific piece of information. As some questions are asked regularly, we have put together the following FAQs for you. If the question you are interested in is not answered here, you are of course welcome to contact us at any time.

  1. Where does the electricity for the e-vehicle fleet come from?

    We get the electricity for our e-vehicles from the solar park in Werfenweng.

  2. Where can I get the Werfenweng Card?

    You can get the Werfenweng Card on mywerfenweng.eu or directly from us at the Werfenweng Tourist Office. We are open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays from 10am to 12pm.

  3. How long is the Werfenweng Card valid for?

    Depending on which version of the card you choose, you have a different number of points at your disposal, which you can use up during your stay with us. The Werfenweng Card is therefore valid until you have used up all of the points.

  4. Why do I have to show my train ticket?

    It’s simple: so that you can use the W³ shuttle free of charge. Because this convenient service is available to people arriving by train to our village.

  5. Who can buy a Werfenweng Card?

    Anyone coming to Werfenweng, either for a short holiday or even for a longer stay, can buy the Werfenweng Card. There are no special requirements.

  6. May I keep the Werfenweng Card or do I have to hand it in again at the end of my holiday?

    If you decide to buy one, you will of course receive your very own Werfenweng Card. So you can keep it even after your holiday is over.

  7. How am I insured when I borrow a samo vehicle?

    The e-cars and fun-vehicles with number plates are fully insured and have an excess to pay in the case of an accident.

  8. Are there any constraints for samo mobility at peak times?

    During peak times, we recommend that you reserve the cars you want right at the beginning of your holiday. There are no constraints with the fun-cars, as they can only be hired for a maximum of 30 minutes at any time. However, we are also happy to extend your driving pleasure, demand permitting.

  9. How often may I reserve a car?

    A car can be reserved once a week. However, we will be happy to allow you to make a further reservation if demand permits.

  10. Where can I get a child seat for the borrowed vehicle?

    We have a supply of child seats for the cars.

  11. May I take my pets with me on the activities?

    Yes, pets are also welcome. Please ask for a pet blanket.

  12. Does the E-LOIS also run outside Werfenweng?

    Our E-LOIS does not travel beyond the borders of Werfenweng. However, if you would like to travel to one of our neighbouring communities, the W3 shuttle is available.
