Your questions – our answers

While you are planning your holiday in Werfenweng, one or two questions are bound to come up. Or maybe you are already in our village and are just looking for a specific piece of information. As some questions are asked regularly, we have put together the following FAQs for you. If the question you are interested in is not answered here, you are of course welcome to contact us at any time.

  1. How do I get to Werfenweng by train?

Take the train to Bischofshofen, Pfarrwerfen or Werfen station, then hop on the W³ shuttle for a comfortable ride to your accommodation. You can find all the information about the W³ shuttle here.

  2. What can I do with the Guest Mobility Ticket?

You can get the Guest Mobility Ticket from your landlord, and it allows you to use all public transport in the Salzburg region free of charge during your stay. You can find more information here.

  3. What can I do with the guest card?

You’ll receive the Werfenweng guest card from your accommodation provider when you check in. It entitles you to free entry to the weekly programme, includes a return trip on the Rosnerköpfl village cable car, and gives you discounts at Wengsee Leisure Park and the scavenger hunt in Werfenweng.

  4. How does the electric car hire service work?

Book the electric car in advance in person or by phone at the Tourist Information Office during opening hours.
