Tour description

The starting point is the Wengerau. Continue to the right across the alpine pasture, then into the forest. From the forest, take the left-hand path with wooden steps past the Dr.-Heinrich-Hackel hut and the Tauernkogel to the exposed but secured “Stieglloch”. You reach the Eiskogel via the Tauernscharte.

Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required!
