The big mountain hut circuit – Fauna-Flora circuit
Tour description
The starting point is the Wengerau (D3). Continue right across the alpine pasture, then into the forest. From the forest, take the left path with wooden steps to the Dr.-Heinrich-Hackel-Hütte, continue to the Brandstättalm, after about 300 m follow the turn-off to the left to the Salzburger Almenweg, past the Jochriedl and the Brandlbergköpfen to the Frommer Hochalm. Continue to Frommer Niederalm and via Grundalm and Strussingalm down to Zaglau.
