Tour description
The high-altitude circular walk begins with a gondola ride: the IKARUS cable car takes you up to the top station. From there, the tour leads around the summit cross on a stretch of just over one kilometre. The panorama is breathtaking, with 40 peaks greeting you from afar: from the Tennen and Hagen mountains to the Hochkönig massif, from the Tote Gebirge to the Dachstein group and from the Hohe Tauern to the Styrian Limestone Alps.
Of course, there are plenty of “benches” along the panorama trail so that hikers can rest at any time and let their gaze wander in peace.
